WHO ARE AGING LIFE CARE PROFESSIONALS?
Aging Life Care Professionals are members of the Aging Life Care Association who are typically trained in health and human services to acts as a guide and advocate for families who are caring for older relatives or disabled adults. The Association was formed in 1985 with 50 members and in 2015 it celebrates its 30th anniversary with 2,000 members in the United States and Canada.
In order to join the Association, Aging Life Care Professionals must meet strict membership criteria that include:
- Certification Requirements
- Adherence to the Association’s Code of Ethics
- Adherence to the Association’s Standards of Practice
